Vico Persson

Vico Persson is a visual artist and exhibition maker, working from his studio at Treehouse NDSM since 2023. In his creative work, he freely mixes drawing, painting, and photography to create mixed-media collages. These systematically combine two kinds of realities, inviting the viewers to reflect on their own perceptions of the world, and possibly question their own truths.
Even though the works often take abstract forms, they are deeply rooted in concrete ideas drawn from everyday life, technology, and literature.
During the last couple of years, Vico's work has been exhibited internationally, including recent showcases at Fuse NDSM in Amsterdam, Ghent Design Museum, and the Boghossian Foundation's Villa Empain in Brussels.
