"Tiago Sá da Costa is an independent designer/artist whose work is focused on exploring materials and light with new or unconventional crafting techniques, to unfold these in sculptural objects. Inspired by Nature and Geometry, these objects present a playfulness of contrasts between warm and cold, soft and hard, light and shadow, that aim to create pleasant atmospheres in the surrounding space and entice feelings in the spectator. With this in mind, Tiago creates sculptures, installations, lamps and furniture, being it on demand, or just for his own enjoyment."
