I am an international artist and educator. My artistic journey began near the ancient town of Kzykos, where I grew up drawing Hellenistic sculptures. Later, my studies and work in Istanbul further inspired my development as an artist. I have traveled extensively to explore and create art in various places, including London and Amsterdam, where I am currently based. This journey led me to embrace two-dimensional, accessible, and versatile materials such as paper and canvas. I find a sense of ease and fluidity in using these simple materials as playful tools to make art while growing more in ideas. Currently, I am working on a conceptual narrative series that addresses contemporary themes, including environmental, political, and social issues. Additionally, my portraiture work lyrically expresses humans’ complex moods and surroundings.
