When details of our personal lives get blown out of proportion we lose balance. This is a human struggle, it actually reaches beyond the individual. Social structures and nature also fail to function when harmony is lost. And then we struggle in a fast spinning, self-obsessed turmoil of everyday living to reinvent unity; in nature, society or in our own minds. 

My paintings and drawings engage in exploring subjects like the above statement. Lingering between the  individual, the environmental, the social and the trans-generational whilst trying to seize some fleeting glimpses of an all-embracing consciousness. Come and see some of them in my studio!
