Marius van Zandwijk

At NDSM Open, Marius van Zandwijk shows the mini-exhibition Caging clouds? in his studio (Treehouse 57A3). Clouds are always double. Seen from the outside they are measurable objects, seen from within they are experimental conditions. In March, Marius van Zandwijk did a residency in Iceland. During this residency he developed a fascination with clouds. In the mini-exhibition, paintings are on view.

Marius van Zandwijk has exhibited in SÍM Gallery (Reykjavik, Iceland), Arti et Amicitiae (Amsterdam), Purmerends Museum, Kunsthalle Kohta (Helsinki, Finland), NDSM Fuse (Amsterdam), among others. He holds a degree in Fine Arts, Gerrit Rietveld Academie.
