Helga van Stralen is a visual artist based in Amsterdam. She embraces adventure in her work, seeking out new worlds. Her approach is unrestricted: she creates installations, standalone sculptures, assemblages, collages, and miniatures.

Regarding her creative process, she says: ‘The most beautiful and honest way to communicate is through your own creative flow—one that moves ahead of you, leading you to unknown places and new insights.’

She draws inspiration from everywhere: her personal life, the physical world, the internet, television, and books. It is a world encompassing all its facets—the mundane and the poetic, wonder, beauty and ugliness, hope and despair.
