Helga van Stralen

Helga van Stralen is a visual artist. She lives and works in Amsterdam. In her work she is happy to assume the adventure. In search of the right expression and expressiveness, each work is unique in its own size and material. The form is free: she makes installations, autonomous images, assemblages, collages and miniatures.
She says: ‘The most beautiful and honest way of communicating is through your own creative flow that anticipates you and leads you to unknown places and new insights.’
Helga van Stralen studied Sculpture at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (1986-1991) and at the Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam (1991-1992).
Her work can be seen regularly at exhibitions and galleries.
