Gabriele Bonomi is an Amsterdam-based multidisciplinary artist, curator, and plant-based chef working at the intersection of bio-design, tactile sculpture, and gastronomy. Drawing from a decade-long journey from Northern Italy to the Netherlands, his practice explores themes of identity, memory, and ecological interconnectedness.
Operating out of his studio at Treehouse NDSM, Gabriele bridges visual arts and culinary alchemy by viewing organic matter and kitchen waste not as refuse, but as primary artistic mediums. His tactile canvases, site-specific installations, and mixed-media sculptures incorporate upcycled food scraps, handmade paper, organic dyes, and botanical fibers.
