Eveline Ypma is an ambient composer, multi-instrumentalist, and sound artist based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her work is characterized by a modest yet playful approach to composition. Inspired by nature, she weaves organic soundscapes into her music, adding both an organic and quirky dimension.
“Creating new work feels like shaping a planet. I search for emotions, objects, atmospheres, and environments that belong together, then translate them into instruments, sounds, timbres, and composition. In this way, each work evolves into a distinct sonic universe of its own.”
