Eibert Draisma's Jungle

studio NDSM-plein 61, Kunststad 1st floor, NDSM LOODS

Inventor, Designer, and Artist Eibert Draisma was born deep in the jungle of Zambia—though no one knows exactly where or when. Due to inexplicable circumstances, he ended up in the Netherlands, but Eibert actually never wanted to leave the jungle.
That is why he simply developed one himself—in his mysterious studio at the NDSM shipyard!

Visit his jungle studio, a world full of wondrous glass creatures, singing birds, croaking frogs, Battery Eaters, Sea Cucumber Lamps, and all kinds of incredible inventions!

Workshops and Lectures
In his jungle studio (or on location), Eibert gives lectures and workshops: as a corporate event, family outing, or bachelor party, or as a birthday party for children who want to become inventors too!

The World’s First Talking Coffee Maker
While still a student (in 1989), Eibert developed the world’s very first talking coffee maker—and that at a time when Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri didn't even exist yet! This talking coffee machine traveled the world for years and is currently located in the Centraal Museum Utrecht.
Eibert has made diverse inventions, holds various patents, and offers a lifetime warranty on almost all of his products.
