Design justice workshop with Klaartje Freek
NDSM Theater, NDSM LOODS
Open all day, talk at 13:00 and 15:00
What does justice look like? Is it a punishment against crime or is it a state of peace? What would our world look like if it were just? If there would not be injustice? Would we look differently, would we live in different houses, drive in different cars? Would we share our food, would there be no wars? Wouldn’t there be any poverty? Would trees grow differently, would rivers be drinkable? What would lady justice look like? What would our court houses be like?
Interactive workshop with Klaartje Freeke, artist and former lawyer. Klaartje is one of the co-founders of Design of Justice, a project in which art students and law studentes worked together to create fair courthouses in 4 different cities in the Netherlands. In this workshop, Klaartje will share the insights and outcomes of this project and she will guide you to make a big joint work of art that enables us to visualise the meaning of justice in our lives.
