Colina van Bemmel (1992) is an artist and filmmaker from The Netherlands. She completed her Fine Art education in 2015 at ArtEZ University of the Arts and has since developed her practice in both film and art. Her work shines a light on hidden subjects, always seeking to uncover deeper layers beneath the surface narratives. With her art she invites others to delve deeper within themselves and reevaluate their perspectives, free from popular ideas and external conditioning. She finds inspiration in nature, embodiment, symbolism, technology, and the changes we are currently facing in society. Through her exploration of these themes, Colina wants to share that there can be great beauty in the unknown.
